Managing Director
Key Responsibilities
It’s my job as Managing Director to assume responsibility for all operational matters, working closely with Customer Service, HR, Finance and Area Managers to ensure that services are being carried out as specified and schedules are being met.
What I really enjoy is my job as central communicator as I like to ensure we maintain trust within our relationships with employees and business partners alike. I also take great pleasure in providing guidance and motivation to everyone from cleaners to area managers to drive maximum performance in every area of the business.
I am always on hand to make sure I can take care of any issues and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth. COVID has certainly been the number one challenge of 2020, it has been enormously difficult at times, but I believe as a team, we have risen to the occasion confidently.

How long have you worked for 3 Way
I have been with my family business, 3 Way, for 27 years. During that time, I have worked in every part of the business. I started with daily office cleaning and carpet cleaning. I then moved on to one off specialist cleaning and window cleaning. I eventually went back to school and got qualified to make sure I could understand the full specifics and requirements of the business which has allowed me to grow 3 Way from 14 people to over 400 in the UK and 30 in the USA.
I am fascinated by how businesses work right down to the nuts and bolts. I am fortunate that my position has allowed me to develop an understanding and appreciation for many different businesses. This curiosity then developed to expanding the company in to the US in 2011, for another of our long standing clients. We have been working for 20 years with Aldi.
I feel very fortunate to have met some of my closest friends in my position. Long may this continue!
How have you utilised your knowledge to help a client
Mishcon de Reya
We have been fortunate to offer services to Mishcon de Reya for over 21 years, initially just as a carpet and upholstery cleaning service to fully supporting every part of the cleaning and building support daily operations.
We needed to Identify and implement a structure that worked for our client and which involves a full time building/business support manager. With our history and understanding of our customers’ needs we regularly exceed expectations. We know how to supply a fully integrated support service. Working with such a high profile company has never allowed us to rest on our laurels and has allowed us to develop a culture that seeks and habitually improves in harmony with our clients needs.
Outside of work
I love travelling during my holidays and take real pleasure from experiencing different cultures, foods and people. The world is a very large playground and I still have a long way to go to achieve my bucket list! Down time normally revolves around walking the dog and spending time with the family or socialising with good close friends.
